This is the human condition. We're chained to contemporary conventional thinking. even in this 21st century. Few people have the guts to search beyond the immediate, the trite, and the apparent, for most don't really know who they really are. Those of us who do have the courage to break these chains and trust our intuition, our spiritual selves, are looked down on as eccentrics at best and out-and-out insane at worst. Think of all the prophets and saints who've been killed.

The Prometheus myth is one of the most powerful mythological manifestations of a analogy of liberation of humanity through thinking and knowledge... Prometheus, a titan, defied the gods by stealing the fire from zeus, giving it to man , fire which represents POWER and KNOWLEDGE,etc, then imprisoned onto a rock to be eaten by a eagle forever. Then Hercules coming to save him later, half man/half god..... EPIC

@TheHyperboreanzenith I didn't know, that Percy Bysshe Shelley had written the lyrical play "Prometheus Unbound". I just found it out :) It's very interesting for me.. As I know, Percy Bysshe Shelley was the poet who restored the Celtic sagas and whole Irish mythology. He also found time for Prometheus..

@PrometheusIICaucasus
what I meant by my comment is, the way they imposed themselves on foreign lands, stole the fire knowledge, and sunk the bearer of light ,made up stories about Aryan invasions, killed millions of innocent people WWI + WWII, all for their own personal gain.
