I am not, nor have I ever been, American, but I grew up there as a Canadian subject of Her Majesty the Queen. I love America, especially the South and Pennsylvania Dutch Country, where I mostly lived while in America. I love the freedom that Americans had, for which many hundreds of thousands have shed blood and lost their lives.

I love the freedom that America still offers, relative to my State of Canada, especially

the freedom to own guns to protect yourself.
