He does make it into the end zone. You can see the 20 and 10 yard markers and he keeps going - getting in @26 seconds.

you are right, once he hits the guy, he is at the endzone, you can see when the zoom into the player, over his should the part outside the field, and he is jumping in the field

There was only 4 seconds left in game when the kick was returnede, the band came on the field because they thought they had won. They had no idea the bears would make a touchdown with only 4 seconds, 60 yards away.

You're right, he doesn't cross the line... never mind the band, how can it be a legal score if he never took the ball over the line?

look at the markers. he passes 20, 10, then clearly is in the end zone

He invaded the field, while the game was still on, so technically he counted as a player. One of the things that the refs threw the flag for was too many players on the field.
