There was only 4 seconds left in game when the kick was returnede, the band came on the field because they thought they had won. They had no idea the bears would make a touchdown with only 4 seconds, 60 yards away.
Every single one of these band members deserved to have the madden hit stick put on them by every one of the Cal players. Fucking band geeks that can't play sports going on the field before the game is even over...the dude that got smashed deserved everything he got. He invaded the field, while the game was still on, so technically he counted as a player. One of the things that the refs threw the flag for was too many players on the field.
