  • @reticulan5 I cannot believe that panasonic did that with a full shoulder mount camera. MOS sensors, really???

    My HMC40 has the rolling shutter as well due to the MOS sensors too, but seriously if you're going to buy a full size cam CCD all the way, there are fixes to CCD flare thing or whatever it's called, it is so obvious sometimes.

    On some DSLRs for video it's even worse, they even have horrible image aliasing and no audio stuff I don't care how small they are, not practical for me.

  • Both are shit when it comes to quick panning.

    Why don't these 2 manufacturers make Global Shutter CMOS Chips.Then there wouldn't be a Jello/Rolling Shutter effect.Otherwise stick to CCD's.
