Robinson was pretty dominant for a stretch. probably top 5 dominant in the 90s. definitely top 10.
Magic does have ownership of the Lakers.

instead of the shot clock to 20 the made bringing up the ball faster to 8 sec but that happened after the pistons then knicks then heat fucked the league with battle royal ball.
he said the team of the 90s will be the knicks because he knew he was going there. what do you expect.

haha riley only got one thing right. Bird became a coach. Robinson was great but got dominated by players like Olajuwon till Timmy got there. Magic's not an owner, the game got slowed down, and the Knicks won no championships.

I love Riley's prediction of revved-up offense, and then he promptly went to the Knicks and turned every game into an ugly, low-scoring street fight.

Hakeem Olajuwon OWNED David Robinson, and I am sure that had Jordan been around those two years the Rockets won the title, the Rockets could have won at least 1. The Rockets always used to put up a good fight against the Bulls.

Oh man, please ABC/ESPN give up the NBA, you STINK. The NBA belongs on NBC with Bob Costas and that music. NBC does not do much right but the do a great job with ALL sports - NFL, NBA and NHL.

Scoring in the NBA slowed dramatically by the end of the 90's. It's hard to make predictions like these so I'll cut him some slack.

I was going to disagree with Portland taking Chicago to a 7th game in 92 but now that I think about it, you're right. That series really should have been a classic, but the only reason Chicago didn't take it in five or a sweep for that matter, was because Chicago beat themselves in those two losses
