(www.shebafoods.com) Exotic African Cuisines made simple by Kunmi Oluleye, author of Life with Wal-Mart: A Vendor's Story and Selling My Food To Supermarkets, Distributors, Etc..

This DVD is entertaining as well as educative. There are trivia questions to reveal the African country's cuisine to be prepared. Kunmi takes you shopping for ingredients at various locations, prior to cooking in the kitchen. Get Step-by-Step cooking instructions and Nutrition information on various Foods.

Watch Kunmi's daughters ages 7 & 11 help with the cooking in the South African segment. No prior African or any other type of cooking experience required. An educational gift for anyone!

This is the first of 17 DVD series featuring mouth-watering recipes. This DVD focuses on Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.

A great video for all ages.

  • and no offense to anyone when i say it's hard. i'm american. i love the flavor and spice of african food and i appreciate the love and skill it takes to prepare it but even having grown up in the kitchen as a black southern girl, i can't compete with an african and i yearn for that type of food everyday. Madame Kunmi, you now have a customer for life...now, if only i can get it perfect, but that will come with practice. Thanks so much!

  • okay you guys, especially you americans. I LOVE SHEBAFOODS. The spices for the african dishes you know and love so well are provided for you and simply all the steps you have to take. I love jollof rice so much. but cutting ginger, garlic, tomatoes, onions, making the stew, etc. is just so dang hard. I know, I've tried and wasted much food. however, i got my spices yesterday and immediately made it. the taste is phenomenal. i made a few mistakes (my fault, still a beginner) but awesome results!

  • i have problems following books and maybe want to try a dvd...is that going to be jollof rice at 27 seconds? that's the main recipe i want. do you include measurements or do you cook visually on the dvd? because I can't cook with my eyes, i have to have measurements until i get used to the recipes. the food looks yummy.

  • I love that song!! Ou se an boss! Messi an pil sista!

  • Yummy!

  • I LOVE COOKING.
