That teacher is a complete idiot who shouldn't be teaching. The people who are going to obey the signs aren't the ones who are going to shoot up a school. Bad guys are going to ignore it. A sign is not going to stop a criminal. Gun free zones are dangerous no one can defend themselves from criminals. A enraged criminal doesn't give a shit about 5 years in prison after he has just murdered 33 people. The only thing that stops a criminal dead in his tracks is a nice 45 round to the upper torso. Criminals will have a field day if that sign goes up. No one will be able to defend themselves, and remember its ok because the police will show up to photograph all the dead bodies.
