fé em Deus e nas crianças da favela

I was watching a video of two Brazilian girls dancing and got taken by one of them. I've always had a weakness for cute brunettes. Although she appeared to be the better mover, she was looking to her partner for cues and direction when it came to the transitions and I felt I needed to give her a good talking to, some advice on being a stronger, focused, better rehearsed dancer. I'm terribly upset when African girls aren't well rehearsed and coordinated in their dancing.

Of I went to Orkut Brazil to seek her out, and found a lot more than I expected. This picture was taken a few years ago, and she is a tad different from the sweet, delightful angel you see in this picture, probably a much different person.

Her name is Nathallya.

Nathallya, wherever you are, however you are today, you are and will always be a Lovely Day in the Heart

  • I have always wondered the reasons why I found myself so captivated by this picture and I realized that one of them was the large deep black irises (irides if you are a stickler for correctness) set in the perfect whites.

So much for colored contacts. Why are black women in this habit of always finding fault with appearance?
