At 9am, the #56 Team Goh Chamberlain Chrysler Viper GTS-R driven by Walter Brun suddenly snaps right just before Arnage and it is a big impact, the car could have been doing around 200 mph at the time and the car lost a lot of body work en route. It was caused by a blown out left rear. The driver is OK but it was a hell of a thump.

There is debris and gravel all over the track. It will take no further part and the Chamberlain crew can pack up and get ready to go home.

  • @JontieDesario I like the commentator though, but I have yet to know his name.

  • @33unholy it doesn't seem like live commentary to me, so the moment was gone, still i agree, he could have tried :/

  • the commentator doesn't seem exited

  • tough year for the viper in racing, this was the same year that Bret Parker flipped his ALMS viper at Road Atlanta.

  • quick reaction by the marshalls.

  • Anyone know who the commentator is?

  • On Radio Le Mans this yeah - Hugh Chamberlain said amazingly this car was hardly damaged apart from the bodywork - when they first saw the car sitting there they thought it was a chassis gone!
