  • hahaha :)

Ma was the best, can u see the size of his smile as he plays with this guy?

poor guy cant believe what hes experiencing, look how he walks back each time, defiant at first, then confused, then just flat on his arse lol :)

    stunning clip, thank you..

  • MAfanatic,

He did not actually push the guy away and make him jump. He just unbalance the guy. When a person is unbalanced just a little bit over the equilibrium position and start to fall off, it's one's natural reaction to jump to counter the falling off movement.

  • that's my kung fu brother in shanghai master Ma is tossing around! he sang at my party after i became a disciple....he's quite the cut up after a few beers...and my teacher Dr. Li in the maroon sweater behind him laughing...love it..... too funny

  • Ma was one of the few tai chi practicers who master Si Men Jin. admiring...

I hope I can master Jin one day.

  • @IronPalm Your kindly masters, although no doubt genuine, have given you miss information. Taijiquan does operate within the laws of physics but is not bound by the laws stated by man. instead, it follows the principles of nature some of which have been observed and understood by man some are still undiscovered. (yet they exist) Some have been discovered but as yet have no scientific explanation. It's nonsense to you because to you it makes no sense. Doesn't mean it's not true or real. Respect.

  • @IronPalm Ha ha ah. It's not a magic skill. Do your research and you will see that it's quite likely that Yang Cheng fu only passed the full transmission to a limited number of people. His first son Yang Zhen Ming/ Yeung Sau Chung who was his assistant instructor and literally a handful of disciples. You should know that only the disciples or family get the full transmission. Yang Zhen Ming only had 3 disciples and 3 daughters. There are many students and instructors but not many disciples.

  • @jasma98 - Ah, back to the old "magic skill that was only passed on to select few that defies the laws of physics and common sense". I fell for this concept for longer than I care to admit, and it wasn't until I tasted the skill of some genuine masters who kindly explained to me that martial arts operates within the laws of physics and not contrary to them was I able to see this for what it is - nonsense. Skilled master no doubt; but the demo dummies make it look poor.

  • @BloodyForger 1st, "Newton's Laws hold only with respect to a certain set of frames of reference called Newtonian or inertial reference frames". Perhaps you should study them more deeply before making reference to them in supporting your arguments in future. 2nd, Most guys don't start tai chi until their 30's. It takes at least 10 years to be skilled enough to use this skill in real time combat. Who wants to enter tournaments when in their 40's? Are you blind? will you ever open your eyes?

  • @IronPalm You've pushed hands with some great masters but not many of the great masters out there have had this skill passed on to them. Trust me, if you push hands with any of the guys who have this skill....There's no telling what kind of stupid looking jumps, backwards running, twists, turns or screams you'll be making.

  • @wolkenhand Hmmm..Are you being sarcastic,as far as martial goes never think you are better than anyone, for how can you be better than yourself.no me,no you, just consciousness. There is nothing ever but mind,my mind is your mind.In another state how could they be different.Martial is beyond words, and consciousness is devastating, just look at the control society has on the people, and our minds when we think we are above someone else.As long as war exists in our minds, the fight is not over.:):):):)
