This Festival started in the summer of 2005 and it has

been continuing to grow ever since.

PAF brings together artists from Greece and all over

Europe. There is a big mixture of events including,

graffiti, live music, DJ-ing, video art, graffiti seminars,

exibitions, juggling, dancing shows and there is always

the vision of much more.

The festival takes place on the Island of Corfu close to

the small village called Pelekas, where there is easy

access to beautiful beaches. PAF provides camping,

hotels, food and drink and a great environment to have

fun and enjoy. All events are free for the public, where

artists and audience can meet and enjoy the relaxed

summer atmosphere under the trees.
In the summer of 2006 graffiti artists once more

travelled to Corfu. From 30 June to 4 July more than

170 participants - artists, musicians, DJs, dancers and

jugglers, from Greece and abroad, flocked to the

village of Pelekas for the 2nd PAF Graffiti and Music

Festival.
The tents that started to sprout on the organized camp

site unofficially marked the beginning of the five-day

event. And as the empty walls started to hum with

colour, the olive groves filled with the sound of DJ sets

on the 1st Stage, covering a broad range of musical

styles and trends.
Even during the hottest hours of the day, the specially

shaped location provided all kinds of facilities, taking

the visitors' experience to another level.
In the evening, everyone gathered around the larger

2nd Stage, where DJs, bands, MCs and various

happenings set off dancing and fun. The culmination

came with the concerts that took place in the centre of

the village Pelekas, which whipped up even the most

"peaceful" locals.
The end of the festival found participants and visitors

hearts and minds filled with sounds, colourful creations and friendly interaction. The rendezvous will be renewed this year!!!

LOCOMONDO is a 5 member band based in Athens, Greece. It is the first band in Greece which fused the Caribbean sound together with Greek musical elements and Greek lyrics.
Their first album entitled "Enas Trelos Kosmos" ("Crazy World" the translation of the band's name in Greek) was released on March 2004 by Music Box International. After the release of their album, LOCOMONDO played a series of live shows in several venues across the country. Furthermore, they had the chance to play as support band for world-known acts such as the legendary Skatalites and Chumbawamba, participate in the Rastavibe festival and play a series of concerts for the municipality of Athens during the Athens Olympic Games 2004 festivities.
Songs like "Trendy Litsa" and "100 afro" had ample air-play in almost all the Greek radio stations, while the song "Stin Athina" entered the play list of Radio France Internationale for 2 months.

This year LOCOMONDO travelled to Jamaica after an invitation of the Skatalites' trombone player, Vin Gordon, also known as "Don Drummond Jr." in order to record their new album. This musician is considered as a "living legend", given that he can be heard on numerous Studio One recordings, as well as playing with Burning Spear, Bob Marley and the Wailers, and many others. Among the other Jamaican musicians that have participated in the LOCOMONDO recording, is Deadly Headly Bennett, a former member of the Skatalites and Studio One veteran. The outcome of this collaboration can be found on their new cd entitled "12 Meres stin Jamaica" (12 Days in Jamaica) released on July 2005 by Music Box International.
