In Memory of Dan Eldon

Dan Eldon lived his very short life helping the people of Africa. He was stoned to death at age 22, but he left behind a powerful legacy of inspiration. Seeing Dan's mother, Kahy and sister, Amy on TV in Taiwan inspired Antonio Graceffo to reach deeper into his adventures, and try and help people along the way.

It was the story of Dan Eldon that inspired Antonio to get involved with the Shan people and other ethnic minorities, fleeing the war in Burma.

From north America, to Africa, to Burma, this video is the result of an unusual collaboration.

Sam Stavros, Dan's cousin, is a musician who wrote and performed an incredibly inspirational song; For Dan: Neverland. The Neverland was impetus for this Global Tribe Video. According to Sam, the genocide in Burma is exactly the sort of thing Dan would have been concerned about.Brooklyn Monk in Asia Podcast (anti-travel humor)

Why not just ask former US Army, Marines, and special forces to trained the Shan State Army and other rebels to fight against Myanmar military government to overthrow evil dictator Than Shwe.

  • @SilentEagles Great, just get on that and let me know how it works out for you. when they are ready to come over here, let me know and i can make arrangements for airport pick up and hotels.

  • @brooklynmonk1

Do you ask your friend who are former or now serving in the army, marines, and specials forces to help you trained shan state army.

  • @SilentEagles Yes, please ask your friends to help. let me know when they are coming.

I know Shan State army and other ethnic rebels fighting against Myanmar military aren't getting the best equipment and weapons. Do you ever talk to Arms smuggler to supply the SSA modern weapons and equipment use by US Army, Marines, and special forces. I would glad is SSA get the same weapons, gears, and equipment us by US military by dressing like them.

  • @SilentEagles yes, i agree. if you have modern weapons for the rebels please send them.

  • Thanks for the video Antonio. I read article of you in Blackbelt mag about getting Malaysian Martial Arts and wanting to pass it on. Congrats. Also, very inspiring video. I am currently Army Reservist MOS 38B Civial Affairs and college student. I want to help the people in Burma and other third world countries. Can you let me know how?

  • I hope you got permission from these soldiers because now they can never pass in Burmese society again.

You got to be careful when you go back to Myanmar near by Thai border to meet and trained Shan State Army and other ethnic group rebles. Ok! Antonio! The Mi-24 attack helicopters is very hard to shot down not even Dshk machine guns can shot it down.

I also heard that Myanmar might have purchase M1991 Mutiple Launcher Rocket System from North Korea on June 25, 2010. It has 22 launching tubes and fires the same 240-mm rockets. It has various warhead capabilities, including HE-FRAG, smoke, incendiary and chemical. A standard HE-FRAG warhead weights 90 kg and contains 45 kg of explosives. A claimed maximum range of fire is 43 km.

I got bad news you might not like it. Do you remember movie Rambo 2 and 3 when Rambo was fighting against Soviet Mi-24. Guess what that dream is coming true. I just heard from DEFENSE STUDIES news is that Myanmar is buying 50 Mi-24 Hind and 12 Mi-2 from Russia. Go Check on Google and put down DEFENSE STUDIES on search box.
