...scary stuff when you consider what can happen when trains really do and can crash?

From what I remember hearing about this story is that it was like a pay per view of it's day. People bought tickets to see the crash. But the people promoting it didn't realize that when the engineers jumped off the trains that the boiler pressure would not be regulated, and when the trains actually crashed the onlookers were hit with shrapnel from the boilers exploding.

that was actualy the crash of crush in west texas in 1896 a man from dallas texas got some old steam engines and sold tickets to come see a amazing crash 40,000 people came many people died ive actualy been to the place it happend there is also a song by my friend brian burns called the crash of crush you can find it on youtube.
