Erin's Tea - Chicago Tea Shopping Trip

It's weird that Teavana made you buy them in tins because they can actually put them in bags for you?

@erinstea yes it is true they sell in bags, saying they will only sell in tins is just a way for them leach more money off of people. Teavana does have some bad selling styles but most of their pay is off of commissions

You don't have to buy the tins, although they will almost always ask for the size of tin you want. You can choose the bags as default and they're free. Great tea selection. Their Matcha green tea is phenomenal!

@erinstea The bags online are foil so the tea will last about 1 year in those bags (same as the tins), but the bags they give you in the store are paper & the tea will only last about 1 week in those, so its actually so much better buying the tea online :)
