Brenda along with Shirley Joiner taught Yolanda Adams how to sing. Brenda won a Stella Award. Brenda past away but her legacy lives on the song. Southeast Inspirational Choir may have been one of the greatest Choirs to went unknown touches young lives through mentorship and singing throughout the south. On a footnote, the Grammy award winning Gregory Curtis grew as a musician in producer for Southeast Inspirational Choir throughout the 80's.
