  • hi mate looking at buying my first car and was just wondering if these are good power wise (are they fast Enough on the street, do they have any trouble getting up hills ? jack

  • @MrJck97 Gday, If you plan on doing 4 wheel driving, you realy cant go past the jimnys. They are easy to modify, have enough power for the size of the car (power to weight ratio), and are great offroad. I am now running 80mm lift and 235/75 r15 size muddies on standard gearing which is about 4 sizes bigger than standard, and i still have enough power to cruise up hills, just need to pop it back a gear. Definately for your first car and first 4x4 i would recommend one. Cheers, Nick.

  • Really really well shot video!! Dude, I'm a bit jealous. Mine's a stocko at the moment. What sort of suspension have you got?

  • @banjorogers Gday! just runnin 50mm dobinson coils and shocks to suit. Works realy well and is the cheapest lift on the market for a jimny. Well i cant wait to see yours all done up have to post some videos!

  • seems like a pretty compitent little truck, would you recomend buying one? I just sold my patrol because it doesn't fit in the garage and it's a real pig around town, been thinking of getting a jimny instead. whenever i did serious offroading i was always shocked to find suzukis tackling the same stuff as my patrol, got me thinking they can go anywhere! thanks for the vids, great stuff!

  • @brindabellaoffroad Gday mate! if your thinking of getting a jimny i would highly reccomend it although i cannot compare it to a patrol because i have never owned one but i know that the fuel consumption would be much lower i get around 400Ltrs to a 40ltr tank and thats modified! , if you have around 3->4 grand to put into a stock jimny you will surely end up with an unstoppable rig, they are extreemly light around 1tonne and are easily and cheaply modified. Thanks for your comment!
