First Weapon I have ever modeled.
With 1.4k Tri's and the with aim of creating a weathered World War 1 Weapon I think I did quite well with this classic firearm.
I am not claiming to have jumped into max and made this with know previous knowledge, I know how frustrating people who lay claim to that can be. I have previous modeling experience but I have never modeled a weapon or done much for games, especially in the sense of optimization, normal maps and UV Mapping before this.
Normal mapping is very basic filter work in photoshop, I am working on becoming more Adept with it.
Any advice or *CONSTRUCTIVE* criticism would be very much appreciated.

Besides you agreed this model of gun is always too shiny in games.
