@lollyclan Don't quote me but I believe the music is Cavatina from the film The Deer Hunter (played best, in my opinion by John Williams). Although often played as an instrumental, it does have lyrics (by Cleo Laine I believe). It is popularly known by it's lyric title "He was beautiful"

@procrustesuk It's mainly on YouTube where that happens. It's a shame that people use that sort of language to stranger (If that is true) but this generation was made this way by the previous generation, and we know who they are.

Shame they didn`t think about the music,its the 50`s,it would have been better with some Tommy Steele or Billy Fury,or Marty Wilde,these were the days of the Teddyboys,the music is drab and dreary,some good old Rock`n`Roll would make this video better......

@boffinme80 Among those things that were good about the fifties were that nobody would ever address a complete stranger as a twat or use the F bomb among people they weren't sure would find it acceptable. So there's two areas where life was better. You seem quite happy to make life worse in these respects, so why should any of us believe you're not happy to drag us all down to your level in others?

@procrustesuk Only because your family must have lived in a run down slum with no job or future and didn't bother to seek medical advice. Scarlet Fever is rare you twat. In the 50s it was prevented thanks to the vaccines and for most people, the 50s were good. No one lost their jobs, no one was on strike, inflation was low. Tell me what was a better time for British citizens then. You might as well go back to the early 1800s where you couldn't survive for 2 fucking days.
