  • my projects going abit slow im trying to find some more bits for it and um i dont think ill be putting any bloody electronic ignition on it ill be keeping that one points i think

  • scratch that last comment ive just found another engine with rebuilt carbs on it so i think the 2 stroke will stay

  • i have now decided to scrap the 2 stroke engine

and put a 4 stroke engine into it because

2 strokes are too much hard work

  • it's only running on one cylinder. I have one I know what that sounds like.

  • yeah i know one of the carbs aint working like it should

  • have the same bike it runs great!

  • they are adorable! please do not destroy this GT !

  • Take it for A BLAST..full throttle...she'll be fine after..

  • yo tengo una

  • @knightriderman55 Dude if youre gonna have a bike you NEED to know how to rebuld carbs!! Seriously, the original engine will probably run fine with cleaned carbs so clean the carbs on the original or put the carbs from the other engine onto the original. also, when you try to start it you are absolutely raping the kick start, a short sharp kick is not much good, you want to make a longer 'sweeping' kick which will get the most out of it and put less stress through the whole engine.

  • Great bike , i had one in 84, it had KnN air filters sounded great, the acceleration felt awesome for me (being a17 yr old kid )

  • @knightriderman55

How is the project going? You should just get a pair of DellOrto carbs and bung em on there.

    It will go like stink.

  • So how is the project going. See my GT380

  • 2 strokes are much easier to work on than 4 strokes. Also 2 strokes produce almost twice as much power for the same size engine as a 4 stroke. Put a Boyer Brandson electronic ignition on it and rebuild the carbs. It will do 85mph and get there really quickly. Much more than any 4 stroke 125
