  • @monsterenergy27 Yeah cutting it in half is good and I do it. But I end up with twice the amount of useless little tig rods that get too hot to use. So what I do is use the last little bits by using a small needle nose vice grip and that allows me to use up those rods almost to the very end. You just have to be careful that you don't get vice grip contamination in the weld! I came pretty close a few times doing that.
