The first video is the 大鸿拳 - Da Hong Quan set, also known as 三晃膀 - San Huang Bang and as 六步架 - Liu Bu Jia - 6 Step Frame.
The San Huang Bang (Three Dazzling Wings) movement is from that of a wild swan. This set is the original root style from Luoyang, Kaifeng, and other areas around the Yellow River Basin, where it was practiced since the Sui Dynasty by the military. Later the style reached Pei Shan, Jiangsu province, in eastern China, where it is most popular today.
The second video Xiao Hong Quan is complete and is extremely rare to find at all. I think that this is a set from the Xiao (Small) Hong Quan style that is found in Shandong province (where many different Hong Quan sets are practiced), which is supposed to be related to Taizu Chang Quan and Taizu Hong Quan.
Please correct me if I am wrong, or if I am right, please verify, thanks!
These are not Shaolin sets, they are from the Luoyang Da Hong Quan style, also found in eastern China as well as the Yellow Rive basin areas of Henan and so on.
Also, the videos incorrectly use the Chinese character for Hong for meaning Flood, which is incorrect. This video is of the Vast Hong character, which you can see if you look at the other Big Vast Fist videos I already posted, they are the same set.
Grazie!
