Did you try the slow version of the crane instructions? It's very similar to the flower, just take it step by step.

this is WAY to dark, once you get to the more delicate parts i cant see a thing. you should use a lamp or something :) looks great when its finished tho.

I do actually have a high powered lamp over my shoulder when I do this. My camcorder just finally got working again (which is why there was a many-month gap in my videos) so maybe something is not set right yet in it. It looked fine on my screen ...

This is very hard, im having trouble with the fold after you fold the top edges in when you formthe diamond shape, like around 5:40 that's where I get lost. Could someone helpme??
