ok this video is more confusing than helping m8, waht about telling how you set up your overview? what do you have to have in your overview and what about range in the scan? 15AU some people dont know how many km that is so! otherwise I would say yep we can see you got a kill lol

hello i am trying to learn how to scan lol
just a quick question, at 1.08 in the vid you say to point your camera at the target, but how do you know where the target is and where to point the camera?
Jackrocksass 3 years ago
check all icons in the backgroudn with scanner on 60 degrees, if you have ur target onscan chance to 30 if its still there, warp there, check belts on signature, then check moons or other planets (moons with POS on scan aswell or you might end up warping into a hostile POS)
press alt to get targeting brackets in your ship to know where you are aiming

That was a very helpful video heres a dumb question though, what range do you put in the scanner range thingy
leonthefaded 3 years ago
depends at what range u want to scan, if u want to scan max range ( i think it was like 14,4/14,7 AU) just up in as much 9'es as possible and they will turn in a number thats the max range.. ( i always use the max range)
