    Yes it'll work. Yes you can buy an iPhone 4S from Singapore without contract. It might be more expensive though.

    siri is pretty useless when it comes to using it in any other countries other than the States.Siri is only able to provide directions and suggest nearby restaurants/clinics/hotels yadayada in US but not in any other countries. Other than tt, functions such as sending text and checking weather forecast should be able to work perfectly in malaysia as long as u have 3G/wifi network.Shouldn't be any problem if u do purchase from any service provider in Singapore since they're unlocked.

    yes. As the reporter has said at 00:21, all the service providers are offering unlocked phones, that very clearly mentions any sim card will work with these phones.
