Later 60s, early 70s.
If I had the Job# I could tell ya the history of the bus. (job# is on a plate inside the right front wheel well, 4 digit)

At my school we are down a med sized hill and have the buses roll up and down it. Well one of the regular buses wasn't working so they used one of the Crowns for a backup. When it was rolling up the hill a loud pop happened and it came rolling back down!!!

Id ditch the Thomas HDX drive any day to bang gears in this old beast. i bet id finish my route an hour early lol

If I owned a Crown bus it would have to have a 6-71 Detroit and a torque converter transmission. But ANY Crown bus is an awesome thing to see.
