To response the street in Jakarta is similar with measuring how deep we can peek into human's conscience. For the sake of order, the street vendors and their eviction, is a never ending case. The government incessantly cleanse them while they catiously are on guerilla in countering the arrival of the laws, since for them not selling means no food or home.

Street vendors have to face the provincial regulation. They were accused to be one of the sources of traffic congestion and a disturbance against Jakarta's image as the capital city of Republic of Indonesia. Using many reasons and methods they are forcibly erased. It is true that they could grow out of control in an absence of order, but personally speaking, they have lots of potentials and easy to compromise with. Even, with a good communication, they can understand and forget the heavy pressure of life for a while, for a laugh together and act in a colossal street show; 'Dancing Umbrellas'

This project is a miniature showing the cooperation reflected by many people, in realizing a friendly Jakarta for all of us.
