I made a better version of the "Cavalry tribute", this time with more and better pictures. I really hope, you like it! Enjoy! :)
Music (WAS): The riders of Rohan + Helm's Deep
Now ,thanks to illustrious WMG, it's been replaced with "Rakoczy march" from Liszt. I hope, you'll still like it.

  • Guys, please! This vid was not made so that you can insult each other. I believe there are some forums (or even other vids on YouTube), where you can do this, but this video does NOT serve that purpose.

  • Coooooooool stuff, man! Cavalry was the essence of man's power, the crown of battlefield. Polish Winged Hussars for sure the best and most uniq cavalry in planet's history. Too bad You didnt get subtitles at all of these horsemen pics - like formation name, nationality and years. But its outstending tribute.

  • Hey, good idea. Thanks for reminding me. I'll get to work on it as soon as possible. :) The winged hussars are one of my personal favourites (next to the Hungarian hussars of course ;) ). Such magnificent horsemen were they. :)

  • i wish i could have watched this with the music fucking WMG!!!!!*shakes fist*

  • Yeah, it's pretty annoying. The music supposed to be "Riders of Rohan" and a piece from "Helm's deep", from LOTR soundtrack. Nothing can replace these in this vid, I think. :/

  • nice vid and btw Klibanophoros is Greek name, you can speak Greek?:)

  • Thanks!

Sadly I only know a few words in Greek (from my history studies in university), but one day I'd like to learn, because it's a beautiful language. :)

  • BGFTW!!! :D ;)

  • Animals like horses shouldn't be used for war.

  • @a09tma Thank You for info;-)

  • @hussair73 By the way, the first domestication of the horse seems to have occurred in modern Ukraine (close to Poland) by the Indo-Iranian/ Indo-Europeans (modernly called Aryans). Then became spread (in asia) by the people migrating south.

The Parthians had formed the first knights. The Meezgerd-e-Savaran is the Knights' Round Table, mercy to non-combatants and combatants, loyalty, full-shining armor, and mard-o-mard (or man to man duel fightnig like the 1,500 years later Mideaval Europeans)

  • Nice work!

  • @a09tma I can asssure You I admire Asian war strategy and style:). To be honest - the most rich Polish Hussars were taking horses from Persia;-). Salut!

  • @hussair73 Well, horses have been used probably since they were domesticated. The Persian (Achamenid) empire was formed because Persian boys had mastered horse riding and archery. the Parthians (later Persian) formed the Cataphrats or what we call to day as the first knights more than 13,000 years they arrived in Europe. They are now reffered as such because of their code of honor and warfare. The Sasanian (later Persian) Empire used its elite cavalry to beat Rome 3 times under 1 king

  • @POWROTTATY zgadza się
