Tico Tico, performed by Richard Noel on the Roland FR-7x Virtual Accordion

Tico Tico (no fuba), by Zequinha Abreu. In the left hand (bass) I am using a guitar bass, with light percussion, and a guitar chord. For the treble I am using a master acoustic accordion voice for the intro, followed by dual master and vibes for the rest of the song. Because the transition from master to vibes must be made very quickly, I am using the sidebar to make the switch at the end of the intro.
This arrangement is by Gary Dahl, although I have made a number of modifications.

Thank you, Silvia. As you aptly noted elsewhere, I'm playing the red FR-7x, which looks identical to my FR-7, except for the black & white pattern in the basses. Hope you didn't think I was "finger-syncing" the performance!

Anyway, I always appreciate your comments and continue to watch your superb videos.

Not a note out of place! Nice, light performance - your fingers effortlessly flitting over the keys. Some players "over-do" this piece, but yours is, quite frankly, an honest, almost understated performance and I think this makes it just perfect. Pure music, played very well, thank you very much.

I did try to select a tempo that was comfortable to play. I'm sure I could probably play it faster, but this tempo felt about right for me.
