It's all about ancient oaths and forgotten history. The Gentry take because it simply pleases them to do so and because Humans long ago made a pact with them, Power in Exchange for life. Those taken by the Folk become Changelings and return now half Fae themselves. The things left behind are cobbled together nightmares. The Fae aren't something any of us should speak lightly of. Faerie shall one day engulf the Earth and we shall be toys. Fear them, Love them, for one day we will be theirs.

as a returned 'half-elf' as you call it or otherkin folk or genetic hybrid, i dont get into semantics, i certainly dont take this topic lightly by anymeans. I recognize what you have said and find it all to be truth and coming from a place of self-honesty. I appreciate your response to the video. Thank you.

Im glad I found someone who sounds like they know what they're talking about when it comes to the fae. I knew them very well in passing as a child, and I really haven't lost so much the connections, more just the spiritual tie to them. I see them, on and off, and sometimes they come to me in my dreams. How much do you know about changelings?, because i have certain speculations of myself that do mirror changeling behavior, attitudes, and over-all deep subconciense connection to the sidhe.

LOL...indeed. "Changelings" much. The semantics is a bit misleading. Transignation is more appropriate. Or Walk-In but then that denotes more peoples chatter. Trust in who you are. There are more elves, fae, dragons, ubaid vamps, anunaki, grays, reptilians and such here than most will want to believe. In the next few years, all of this will become more public. Until then, enjoy the series. Thank you for your interest and know that in spite of what people will say...you are what you think. :)

Is it possible for an earth (forest) spirit, and the spirit of a human to combine into one entity?

Could this happen at birth when a child is born very sick, during a time of year when the borders between our realm and the spirit realm is at its thinest?

Would this person be most likely to become a natural empath?

My family and I seem to have Elven blood and we see them more in dreams. I believe that the transmigation aspect could occur. In my dreams I have only seen them do something once that scared me. Most of the other times they seem to play games with me, like hide-and-go-seek. An Elven man comes to see me often in my dreams and he feels like a father to me. Generally if it isn't playing then he speaks with me in my dreams. I do not remember what he says when I wake though.
