katbunz26, this was behind the Sunset hotel, yes, close to the north end. They're moving north towards Punta Cancun (Dreams), then heading south to finish the hotel zone.
9795975, they've got a 10 year plan for maintenance, though I think it's a matter of cross your fingers, knock on wood to make sure it doesn't erode again.
