@AtheismTalks Its NOT a love song. She's trying to FLATTER her father, thats why she is calling him beautiful. Out of context like that it sounds like a love song, but within the meaning that it was intended for, she's just being like every daughter and trying to get what she wants from him. She's threatening to kill herself if her father doesn't help her boyfriend get written into somebody's will.

@Mrsawyer46 Yes. I do get it. I was answering the question "Why don't people like her." I was helping HeGotTheMagicStick understand a different viewpoint. The reason educated people don't like her is because he cute POPera is selling out, while true artists starve in studio apartments, having worked harder, put more soul into their work, and touched the lives of many many people-- they just haven't made the millions. Jackie made the millions without the years of struggle.

@Mrsawyer46 I have three daughters and I would never abuse them the way they are abusing this child. She has an amazing voice it would be even more amazing if they let it rest for awhile and continue to develop. Her vocal chords and diaphram have not fully developed to be able to sing opera. If you want to hear a better version, listen to Anna Netrebko.

Its obvious her parents are living vicarioiously thru their child. I am not an expert in music but I am a doctor and the childs voice will be damaged its unfortunate. It even happens to adults like Rolando Villazon when they take on too many performances.
