Just a tribute to one of the most interesting and complex royal figures of all time - King Charles Stuart (Charles the First), great-great grandfather of Bonnie Prince Charlie and one of the very last Stuart monarchs to reign over the three kingdoms. His story — his personal story, as intertwined with his people's and his kingdoms' —is a strange, iconic parable, and can still teach us so much, looking back to it... with a special thought to that most noble and loyal man - James Graham, Marquis of Montrose.
