Here's a 2008 Toyota Prius that we have set up with a Thule Traverse
roof rack. The complete base rack includes the Thule 480 Traverse
foot pack, plus the Thule LB50 50 Inch load bars and the vehicle
specific Thule Fit Kit 1345, this same set of components is also use
for the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Toyota Prius. The roof rack offers
a weight capacity of up to 130 pounds evenly distributed and 26.5
inches of cross bar spread, that the distance from the front cross bar
to the rear, center to center. This rack is capable of transporting a
wide range of gear on Thule carriers such as bikes on Thule's 518
Echelon fork mount bike carriers or skis on Thule's 92724 Flat Top
carrier, luggage in a Thule Ascent or Atlantis roof top cargo
