Rant: Christian Insanity

Of course, I don't actually believe religion causes insanity with absolute certainty. I don't have absolute faith it's true. But I do believe it, and more importantly I think it's true. I think there's more than enough evidence to support it, even though I make no attempt to provide such evidence here.

How can you say that christians are insane? Yeah, go ahead and list the people that have killed people. Go ahead and say there are muslims that are terrorists. Does that mean that all christians and muslims agree with killing thousands of innocent people? Does that mean that all christians agree with what every single christian does? No. What about all of the lives that Christianity has saved? Have you ever taken that into account? Or is that just another "psycho in disguise" to you?

@GPLguitar Your comment has almost nothing to do with the point of the video. I'll try to explain it simply for you:

1) Abrahamic faiths have persecuted homosexuals for as long as they have existed, and continue to persecute any way they can

2) Secular society has begun to stop them from persecuting gays

3) Being thwarted, they scream persecution

Can't you see the insanity of claiming persecution for not being allowed to persecute?

@GPLguitar And, as to the unimportant to the point tongue-in-cheek portion of the video you were trying to respond to, you don't seem to have understood it either. I was ridiculing the idea that absolute faith in an unproven idea without solid evidence, like God or my idea that religion drives people insane, should be respected by those who do not share it simply because someone does actually have faith in the idea or concept. Was it really so unclear that you couldn't understand?

Your life would be better if you just stopped worrying about other people and started to look at yourself. That is what atheists can not handle about christianity. It is the fact that there are people that have a moral code that rubs against the atheists love of self.

Why are atheists like you so mad at the World? Maybe you DO need a belief in God to enjoy life and not be continually pissed off? You can't prove that God does not exist and I can't physically prove to you that He does. But I have subjective proof that He does, just as everyother Christian does, a personal experience that is both unique to that person and common with all Believers. So are people have the same exact mass delusion or is it real? Does that make it real?
