Profit and capitalism are not evil. But these 3 things are: greed, selfishness and laziness. Yet these characteristics are inherent in our basic human nature that we learn to control in order to have loving relationships.Tax those who work hard, who use their life energies and intelligents to create accomplishments is a behavior modification that encourages the opposite. History shows this time & time again. Enforce laws that discourage corruption and bribery of our politicians.

Justpray, that's absolute bollocks and for your information when socialism is implemented in a just way, works perfectly fine. However never lasts long due to "regime changes" sponsored by US agencies.
Only now some of the social movements in South American countries are winning their right to govern themselves without too much interference from the US, just the odd coup here and there...

It takes 6 slaves to do the productivity of one person working for profit on that productivity. Incentive is important. That's why capitalism works and socialism and communism don't.

Selfish incentive also leads people to defraud, exploit and abuse others for personal profit. It tears apart communities, and creates a society based around manipulation and deceit. Selfish personal incentive quickly tears apart a nation and leaves it in ruins, as people turn on one another. Obviously, we have to find a better motive for action, or we will not survive as a nation or a species.

Lobbies that want to sell weapons to developing countries are more powerful in Washington than lobbies that want to protect USA traditional workforce. To pay for one airplane, developing countries have to sell to the US millions of garments. Every time the US is selling an airplane or any other expensive weapon system to a developing country, one or more factories are closing down in the USA. There's no other way for them to pay for these expensive "death toys". Same for agro-industrial lobbies

all the way back when baudrillaire wrote his stuff about third-order simulacra. Anyway I didn't intend to actually post that comment, it was just my thoughts at the time. I seem to have pressed "post comment" accidentally. I guess we need to keep the fact alive for new readers.
