doesnt weed have to go through decarboxylation to "activate" most of the thc or does the alcohol begin that process.. either way it would probably become more than 10x more potent if were to slowly mix/stir the weed into boiling milk (or more ideally heavy cream) and add that to the alcohol instead or put it in the alcohol and cap it off and do something similar to pasteurization but if you do this remember alcohol is flammable and if it burns it will smoke all your weed for itself ;D

If I did a tincture out of that alcohol and akittles would ot come out okay? Or would the candy mess up the catalysis of the herb and alcohol? I ask cause I could see tha skittles tincture being a way to kill out the bud flavor. Which would really be good for new patients. Just a thought let me know what you guy think?
