Use two stroke engines when climbing.

Nice work it's getting there!
The skid steer can be hard as you need good power hence my engine change project.
-
instead of trying to skid steer it wouldnt reversing one side and forwarding the other make it turn better?

I would think so but the reason I used angle was for the flat sides to hang sheet metal on, easier to weld plate to a flat surface than it is to a round surface. The other thing to consider is the weight. On my current build I'm using 1" square tubing instead of angle iron to cut down the overall weight.

I picked the Leopard 2a5 because of the turret design I like the spearhead shape.

I've looked at an engine out of a old Geo metro the problem I have is that I don't have a lot of space and that engine was just too big. I've got new gears now so I'll give that a shot and see how it goes. thanks for the Idea though.

Yes indeed I've thought about trying a bigger gear reduction, but I'm not sure it would fix the problem.
