Take a 2 minute 15 second ride on Southwest Airlines flight 1045 from Washington Dulles International Airport to Tampa International Airport. The flight took 2 hours fifteen minutes, with one battery change.

@Getawaymoments How do you get away with using your camcorder on the flights? If the flight attendants see it, they're gonna give you a hard time.

@sean2015 Actually flight attendants are very cool, treat them well and they will ask questions like "what are you doing?" I usually carry example of my work. They are not nearly as worried about cameras as they are about phones ..... which can pose a risk.

I know that flight attendant is a thankless job and I always go out of my way to be extra polite and courteous to them. And you're right, I would never use a cell phone on a plane but I see no problem with using still cameras and camcorders.
