@spiritgifted And how in the world do you know his "approach"? If you mean his mannerisms then yes but his chess training I'm afraid not much is known about that so I don't think you can make such a comment.

@ipoundpoon anand is the world champion, ranks are based on fide ratings and carlsen has the highest rating
-
carlsen is ranked no.1 tho so who is worldchampion if not him?
-
he already is world champion

What you're seeing here are two of the finest chess players in the world.
Radjabov still young and fresh, by his 30s most likely may become the world champion. In a few years, Magnus Carlsen will most likely challenge the world champion as well, and has plenty of time to accomplish this goal.
Both players are geniuses. At that level, you cannot compare these high ranking GMs and assume one is better than the other.

aah, but anatomically the brains are not situated in the little finger...BURN!!!
jk i understand your metaphor...
I have taught chess 34 years ...and beaten many GM's .Magnus's approach to chess is unique in history. His mentality will make winning the crown of chess in the future almost an after-thought.His sportsmanship in the game is unparalled.
