    Ultimately, we shouldn't be 'grateful' for her lack of success, we should encourage her to greater success. It isn't the artists that need to change, it's the audiences, and that's probably what Dessa is focussed on delivering. There are many examples of bands and artists that maintain originality even after hitting it big (think 'Queen' for example, there are tons of others too).
