That's exactly the problem lol. We're not suppose to sound the same! Because of Americanization in Canada(and around the world for that matter), a lot of English speaking Canadians have been sounding more and more American over the years. Distinct English Canadian accents are getting harder and harder to find and are often rejected and looked down upon in Canada now of days. Believe it or not, they're a lot of Canadians that now pride themselves for sounding as American as they possibly can.
