@biggs0218 Teaches u bad habits like going to ground straight away & isn't designed for street situations but for ring the way it seems to be in every club round my area and on youtube. I dont see any weapons defenses, and the emphasis is on floor grappling. The takedowns are heavily influenced by sutemi waza (Sacrifice throws).

Very good vid. IMO not enough address fitness in grappling. Probably because most who have grappled for any length of time are naturally going to be in excellent shape. But still needs to be addressed. There is absolutely no other sport, exercise, etc. that even remotely resembles teh cardiovascular requirements of grappling. This is fact. That's why it is such an essential part of any grappling style. Or you're simply going to get chewed up.
