i have a 1997 nissan maxima, my friend swears up and down that his 06 tiburon gt will destroy my car, he is ignorant enough to say a trailblazer would beat it, but anyway i have thought about swappin a vq35de into my maxima, my car is an automatic, would it be wise to keep an automatic or try to find a manual 2002 or 1997 maxima to race with, and if i keep the 97 what would i need to do in order for the swap to be successful?

ya tibs dont suck at all they have a good bit of potential but they do need a larger engine and rear wheel configuration

Yeah I guess so...It looks like his car leans back twice, hence the miss shift. Can't be sure, but it looks that way. Bu when he misses 2nd, I'm already a car length ahead. It was already won.
