Make back in 2003 this piece of CG animation was never used on the completed DVD release.
The intro they did use was a test piece we did in about 1999 - it was never really intended to be seen, certainly not the version used as it had a few problems in it, such as glows on lights appearing through objects.
The unused intro is based upon the events in season 4's episode 1; the arrival of the Scorpio and the ruins of the Liberator. This was a shot never seen in the series but its mentioned in dialogue.
Well done.

this is brillent, thanks for posting. The DVD release CGI is good, this should have been the season 4 one. I like the reference to the Liberator wreckage

Must have been when Dorian was about to land on Terminal. He tricked the others in to coming to Xenon to feed the Gesalt. With all of Avons untrusting caution ,ironically it was the drunk and supposed dim witted Vila that saved them from it.

Love it! Was always a bit curious why they had a CGI rendering of the Scorpio taking off for the DVD. It's the one sequence in B7 that doesn't need a CGI re-hash. Was still pretty though. Thanks for posting!

This is rather cool, loving the decaying Liberator nacelle.
