Over the years I've had the opportunity to move, however there are some really nice things about this home that I don't want to give up. This is one of them.

  • Yeah, there are lots of nice things about this place. It's turned into a bit of a tourist attraction in the 27 years I've been here.

  • Indeed. :-)

That behaviour is more or less a hangover from my childhood. My mother being the conservative person she is couldn't understand why I wouldn't bathe and that behaviour was one of the things they targeted in the group home I was sent to.

Next I heard about it was mum asking angrily on the phone why I was having a bath 3-4 times a day.

These days I kinda rely on this to get people to keep their distance when I'm in a "stay indoors" mood.

  • hmmm, better not make a "Scratch 'n Sniff" video then! LOL

  • I often work through the night, as many technologists do, and for me, the dawn is often a satisfying end to a satisfying nights work.

There are a couple of reasons I don't make more video's. The first one is going to be solved next tuesday when I buy a computer capable of editing video's.

Other reasons are that I tend to only wash when I go out, that this current camera is shockingly bad at night time shots and I simply can't pick up the camera and make a video when I want to.

  • It's funny but I've never felt that way about conversations. Up until a few years ago I'd grown accustomed to conversations and relationships slowly but surely slipping out of my control.

That is the sunrise btw. The sun's just about to peer through the clouds and I didn't want to capture that in case it damaged the camera.

  • continued from previous comment...they can join in the celebration but you can look that person in the eye and you both know that at one time the room was yours. thats how i feel about each day. it is mine. i would love to see you post a video showing the sunrise where you live. sunsets are like goodbyes.

i loved this video and the concept that went behind it...you really should post way more videos than you do.

  • i wake up at 230 am everyday. i see every sunrise. i feel the day somehow belongs to me when i see the sunrise. as other people wake up they get to share in what me and the sun have already established. like when you are at a party and talking to someone alone in a room and get invaded by others....cont...

  • awesome

  • Beautiful. If I'm not at the beach stimming for a whole day (and night) I'm outside on the front porch stimming at a beautiful wide open sky.
