Hajj is an amazing experience. It has a huge impact on so many people so try to go when you're young. You never know if there will be a "next year" so if you can go sooner than later, then please try to go and don't forget to make du'ah for me when you're there :)

So we're not thieves trying to steal you Americans. Actually,my country spends like millions and millions of dollars so that you can feel comfortable. The food and drinks are given for free. You get breakfast, lunch and dinner for free during Hajj time. Look at Mena, look at the two Holy Mosques, the government has done great works there.

And what do you mean by culture !! What sort of culture thing you didn't like and referring to?? Be specific..!!! Brother we're the only country that applies Al-Shariah Law correctly.

mashaAllah. as an american resident in saudi..i can totally say you are right on about everything, especially the fact that saudi culture IS not all about islam. they are different, oh & that yeah..ban the english if you can around here is better! may Allah accept your hajj & may it be a means of motivation for others to undertake this journey to Allah.

@semarose28 don't take it personal my dear sis...there is negative and positive in every community. no one is perfect right.. he is just tryna correct the mistakes of some people not pointing fingers at saudian or something. he has also mentioned the positive ones alhamdulillah!

you must have shopped at some run down store. all the supermarkets and big stores have law and order and other thingies. but because makkah is too crowded, you get a lot of 'me firsts'. BTW, i am an indian from saudi arabia.
