  • it's not a Dylan song, It's a The Band song, Robbie Robertson wrote it. However well done.

  • Yes mate, thanks for the correction. Bob Dylan's name was put by mistake ....

    All the best

  • Bautiful!! :)

  • @LAngelinaDiMauro

Can you please clarify what exactly you are waiting for?

    Will try to answer you...

  • I have to say that this version reached depths that even some of the originals failed to touch

  • Joan Baez totally ruined the Dixie image....she should be shut down by the music business for doing such a horrible cover.

  • yeah it was stoneman's calvary not sherman...

    Jason - West Virginia

Rebel Born Rebel Bred and when i die i'll be Rebel Dead.

  • Terrific version of a great old song. The vocals, harmonies, backing music are excellent. Look forward to hearing more. Thanks.

  • However this version is very nice, despite using Joan's lyrical 'mishaps'

  • That's because Joan Baez is a moron. She slaughtered this song, totally changed what it was all about.

  • It's Stoneman's Cavalry. Sherman was in the western theatre not Virginia. He was no where near Richmond in 1865.

  • That's from Joan Baez's version. She changed the Band's lyrics quite a bit.
