  • The interesting thing is if you shoot at 5fps, full res, it can only shoot for 12 seconds, which is about the same buffer performance as middle range, crop sensor dSLRs.

    Also people have to consider the fact that if they are shooting at 60fps, the capture time has be smaller than 1/60. This means that in poor light situations your ISO will be pretty high.

  • well it can actually shoot at 60 fps using high res, but it can only do it for a single second at a time. It has to fill the buffer at some point hehe.

  • it think when youre shooting in that 60 fps mode it'll shoot them only at a low resolution like 640*480

  • Pogue's most recent column (2009-Apr-10) noted that Casio has released/announced two much cheaper cameras with similar (but slightly scaled down abilities). Go to davidpogue-dot-com.
