"A lot of luck involved" Boy, I finally hear it from a pro. Many idiots in this world, for some reason, don't agree with that statement. Perhaps it is because they get paid not to say that, are stupid, or haven't played poker long enough to know that. Poker is not a chess game, a tennis match, or a boxing contest, where talent and years of practicing are essential to winning. It is simply a guessing game, a game of financial risking-taking, so therefore it is considered gambling.
