  • Nice video. For the record, Ramey AFB was designed ( the runway ) for those kinds of birds. Mr. @evy0579, I am from Isabela, P.R. and have raised in JOBOS BEACH ( Jacinto, traeme la vaca.)

  • Five stars. That's a really intimidating bird. Nice footage.

  • @evy0579 I was stationed at Ramey 65-67 with the 135's , have you ever been to hobo beach, how about the time a fully armed P-51 landed without clearance? It was from the D/R. Loved my time there.

  • I lived in Puerto Rico from 1969 to 1971 (age 7 to 9) when my Dad was stationed at Ramey AFB. We lived in Mayaguez, Aguadilla, Annex 1, and A Street. I went to Hook Road and E Street Schools. My Dad was in the 53rd WRS. Annex 1 was at the very east end of the runway. I used to go stand at the fence and watch the B-52's.

  • Thank, Hector. I'm with evy0579, except I was there from '68 - '71. Dad was with the 53rd WRS, Hurricane Hunters. Looking forward to the Ramey HS Reunion in Mar '11.

  • Plane is from Minot AFB. I was stationed there 1986-96. I used to pack the deceleration parachute it uses when landing. Thats the sound of freedom.

  • To Bad it wasn't there to drop bombs on it oops that is right all the Puerto Ricans are in the United States
